I had a great time at the Ivy last week. I sat at the bar with a friend and met the fantastic barman Kane who served the most amazing cocktails but honestly it was his service that really made it special! A lovely guy who is an asset to the Ivy Wimbledon

Came in for a coffee on Monday and was served by Caine, who is a credit to the business, he could not have been more friendly or helpful, lovely coffee in a lovely setting.

Very nice place to dine and have a drink me a couple business colleges sat at the bar and was very impressed by Caine he’s very charismatic and can make a cracking tequila sunrise.

We just had a very nice afternoon at the Ivy for a birthday celebration with my family. We Enjoyed a nice cream tea, with tasty scones! The service was smooth and very friendly. A great place which I highly recommend

Quite disappointed with the experience whilst the food tasted fine, the service is very poor, it took ages to get drinks and some items requested never came.
We had scallops, burger and blackened cod, each had a cocktail, and a glass of wine. We skipped dessert for to the inattentive service.
Scallops and burger were both very over cooked. The cod was delicious and perfectly cooked. Top notch cocktails, deuce and fig leaf negroni.
Will still return as I think this was a once off and the atmosphere is lovely, will see how the next visit compares.

Hello all, just wanted to share how happy I was with the experience at Ivy this weekend.
Went there for my husband’s birthday and he found the food delicious and loved the atmosphere. I also loved the way the food was presented and the staff were happy to help and engage with the little surprise party I’ve planned. Many thanks to all and can’t recommend more. 🙏

Avoid the Duck Rendang.
Maybe go for a burger and if you are into the decor?
It isn't an autthentic Rendang and was sloppily presented with yoghurt added directly into the dish, inside somewhere, instead of on the side. Does yoghurt even belong to a Rendang curry?
The Rendang comes in at whopping GBP26 with 120g of thinly sliced tasteless duck.
This dish should not be on the menu of what should be an upmarket cafe because it's too expensive a fake and horrible flavors at that.
Nothing like the Rendangs of Asia.
A very disappointing first experience.
The manager did try to make it right and I appreciate that.

23rd February 2025- 6.30pm, almost empty cafe, was bullied at having food at the otherwise empty bar!!!!!! when specifically asked that we only wanted to have a cocktail for 20-30min!!! Disgusting attitude of a bully Ivy representative!!!!! On an empty restaurant Monday 6.30pm

When you go somewhere and days later you still feel like you have to leave a review you know it’s good.
I’ve been to another Ivy Cafe and honestly this is the best by far. Went for my aunts birthday a few nights ago. I completely messed up the booking and arrived late and they accommodated us with ZERO FUSS! Nothing was a problem, and they just tried to help because I was in such a panic.
The service was EXCELLENT! From start to finish I just felt like the staff were attentive. We had two staff members for our table, The initial waitress we had was EXCELLENT, I’m fussy with drinks and she encouraged me to try a bubble tea and I was very apprehensive and she made it an experience… I really didn’t know ordering a drink could be an experience! And she guaranteed I would like it so when I didn’t, she went back to the bar and amended my drink to my liking !!! WHAT MORE CAN I SAY? I liked it! she said she had only been at the IVY some months but honestly speaking she was just fabulous!! Then we also had a waiter and he too was GREAT, the manners on them both they are definitely going to go far in hospitality if that’s the direction they chose, because both of them displayed management quality. They both recommended menu dishes that tasted fantastic and you could tell they had actually tried the dishes, which makes a difference, they knew how to recommend based on their own experience (Try the Zucchini fries). Not once did I feel like we were a bother or that they were too busy.
I was so impressed I had to speak to the manager and commend them. (He said that the names of the hosts were Tommy and Fatima, I don’t recall the waitress saying her name was Fatima so please do check as I didn’t see our waitress when we left so want to ensure that the credit goes to the right person)

Have been to the Ivy a few times but the most recent visit was the best by far.
We were greeted by good reception.
Food and drinks were outstanding.
Cain on the bar was absolutely phenomenal and such a handsome young man, what a great representative for the Ivy.

Lovely setting, though our party of five felt cramped being seated on a table more suited for four. Arancini and courgette starters were great, though the main of cod was too mildly seasoned. The chocolate bombe dessert was more sweet than chocolatey. The service was excellent and we didn't feel rushed even though we were the last guests to leave on a Monday night.
